“The Unnamed” Competes in the Official Competition of the 46th Cairo International Film Festival

The short film The Unnamed, directed by Abanoub Nabil, has been officially selected for the Short Film Competition at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival this year.

The film follows the story of a dancer and her daughter, Jannah, who finds herself on an unexpected journey after her mother’s world collapses. Through this journey, Jannah rediscovers herself while trying to save her mother.

The Unnamed is produced by Red Star Films, Baho Bakhsh, Safei Eldin Mahmoud, and Mark Lotfy of Figleaf Studios, in Co-production with A.A. Films , Ahmed Amer, And B-Retta Film by Fady Gamal Atallah. Starring Tia and Marwa Mustafa, with Nader Abol Leif.
The film will have its world premiere at the Cairo International Film Festival, as part of the Short Film Competition.
